The Seereer Resource Centre and Seereer Radio I Exclusive interview with Saltigi Biram Puuy
Biram Puuy is a Seereer High Priest (saltigi). In December 2015, The Seereer Resource Centre (SRC) in collaboration with Seereer Radio were given an audience to conduct an interview with him as part of The Seereer Resource Centre's work on documenting and preserving Seereer culture, history and religion. Tamsier Joof and Demba Sene (members of The Seereer Resource Centre and presenters on Seereer Radio) were the interviewers. Other panel members included Professor Issa Laye Thiaw, Momodou Secka and Njaga Gaye. This interview was conducted at Saltigi Biram Puuy's house in Joobaas, Senegal. Apologies for the background noise from the other household members.
